neutralization method: a fluosilicic acid solution (see fluosilicic acid) is prepared by reacting sulfuric acid, fluorite and silica sand, and then purified with a lead salt (lead fluosilicic acid or lead carbonate) to remove sulfate. It is then neutralized with zinc oxide, filtered, evaporated (to a saturated solution), cooled to crystallize, centrifuged, and dried to obtain a finished zinc fluorosilicate.
